The Power of Prayer and Evangelism
Through my ministry of working with different nations and cultures, my passion and love for people has been elevated. For example, one aspect of my ministry is working in the homeless shelter in downtown London, Ontario, Canada. Many of the residents at the shelter (and surrounding community) are alcoholics, addicts and abused women. Oftentimes, it can be hard to love them. God’s call on my life is to just love on them and spend time listening to their stories. In my heart, I feel a thirst and hunger for God. He enables me to love others unconditionally. As the opportunity arises, I show God’s love by praying with them, providing Bibles and food for them, and serving their needs as they arise.
Harvey Katz, in his book Becoming a God Magnet, states, “God wants to use all of His children—even you—to reach other people with the Good News of Jesus Christ!” (102). Anyone, even you, can draw people to Jesus. Let us be magnets to the world through our love for Jesus and His people.

Violet Lema is an evangelist and missionary. She accepted Christ at an early age and has spent countless hours in prayer and fasting. She is devoted to seeing lives transformed by Christ through the power of prayer and evangelism and also understands and meets the practical needs that people have. She has also witnessed many miracles and healings.
